Refund & Payment Authorization Policy

By proceeding to book a session with Talk-WeListen.com, you confirm that you are legally authorized to use the payment method provided and that you understand and agree to the terms below.

1. Refund Policy

All purchases are final after seven (7) days from the date of purchase or after the session is completed, whichever occurs first.

  • Requests received after the 7-day period or after a session has taken place are not eligible for a refund.

  • If a package includes multiple sessions, the refund window applies to the initial purchase only, not to unused sessions.

 

2. Payment Responsibility

By completing a booking, you agree that:

  • You are the cardholder or are otherwise fully authorized to use the payment method provided.

  • You understand that Talk-WeListen.com may request verification if a dispute or claim of unauthorized use arises.

  • Charges resulting from unauthorized use of another person’s payment method remain the responsibility of the purchaser and/or the payment method owner to resolve directly.

 

3. Session Length & Safety Protocol

Our services are non-clinical and not a substitute for therapy, diagnosis, or medical treatment. To promote wellbeing and prevent over-dependence:

  • Sessions are limited to one (1) session at a time.

  • A standard session is up to 60 minutes.

  • An additional up to 45 minutes may be approved by the mediator based on the nature of the conversation and the user’s well-being.

  • Extended or back-to-back session requests may be denied to protect the user.

 

4. Mental-Health Concerns & Reporting Obligations

If, during a session or through written communication, a user:

  • expresses thoughts of self-harm, harm to others, or suicidal ideation, or

  • displays signs of acute emotional distress,

Talk-WeListen.com may:

  • provide referral information for licensed mental-health professionals or crisis resources,

  • decline or suspend future bookings at our discretion, and

  • report threats of self-harm or harm to others to local law enforcement or emergency services, as required for the safety of the user and the public.

 

5. Discretion to Decline Service

Talk-WeListen.com reserves the right to:

  • refuse or discontinue service to any individual whose needs exceed the scope of our non-clinical support,

  • cancel future bookings if safety concerns arise, and

  • enforce session limits to maintain appropriate use of our services.

 

6. Acceptance of Terms

By clicking “Continue,” “Book Now,” or any similar action to schedule a session, you agree that you:

  • have read, understood, and accepted this Refund & Payment Authorization Policy,

  • are authorized to use the payment method provided,

  • understand our safety limitations, referral protocol, and reporting obligations, and

  • consent to these terms as a condition of using Talk-WeListen.com
